At The Kennel Club, our mission is simple: to champion dogs in every way possible. Behind the scenes, our team is dedicated to making a difference for dogs, and at Crufts, we go the extra mile to ensure that our 150,000+ visitors—and the nearly 10 million people tuning in from around the world—have an unforgettable experience. Here’s how we do it…
Crufts isn’t just a dog show; it’s a festival for dog lovers. Your admission includes access to the arena, where up to 6,000 visitors can soak in the action (although an additional ticket is required for our Best in Show programme). With around 20,000 dogs competing each year, Crufts is a spectacular showcase of canine diversity.
It’s also a paradise for dog enthusiasts. The huge trade show is packed with everything from stylish collars to gourmet treats, ensuring your four-legged friend isn’t left out of the fun. And if you’re thinking of adding a dog to your family, Discover Dogs offers the perfect opportunity to meet and learn about nearly every breed recognised by The Kennel Club.
We take safety seriously, especially when we cater to guests of all ages. Crufts is committed to safeguarding all young people involved in our licensed activities. Our board, executive team, stewards, committee, Young Kennel Club (YKC) team, and all KC staff present at the event have successfully completed DBS checks. If you have any concerns—no matter how small—please report them to a designated safeguarding officer at safeguarding@thekennelclub.org.uk.
We also have a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behaviour. If necessary, we will involve the police. Visitors may be refused entry or removed from the event for reasons including (but not limited to):
Health and safety or licensing concerns
Disrupting others’ enjoyment of the event
Using threatening, abusive, or insulting language or behaviour
Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Failing to provide proof of identity or age when required
Refusing to comply with security checks
Possessing a void ticket
Our goal is to create the best possible experience for everyone during Crufts, and we strive to improve year after year. If you have any suggestions, we’d love to hear them.
Thank you for being part of Crufts—have a fantastic time!
