Funniest pet – Katie and Molly
"When we lost babies through miscarriage, she just knew to be near us, demand nothing and lick our tears. When I was a redeployed nurse during COVID, Molly would wait by the window for me to return after long days. She showed us there’s joy, hope, and fun to have every day. Molly also defied all odds after sadly losing a leg last year."
Best pet companion– Joanne and Reilly
“Reilly was only a puppy when my Dad died suddenly; without him, I don't think I would have got me through that time. He made me and my Mum laugh through our tears and was a reason to keep going. He became a Therapy Dog for Therapy Dogs Nationwide in 2019 and brings so much joy to the people he meets and has helped people living with dementia, students and women prisoners."
Most photogenic pet – Courteney and Alfie
"Alfie is a special little boy with his adorable kitten energy. He demands attention wherever he goes, either with his cuteness or his playful antics. In such a short space of time, he has become the heart of our family and the soul of our house. He's already so special but it would be an amazing achievement for him to be Best in Show for the Asda Crufts Pet Event."
Best pet and family moment - Ferryn & Odee
"Ferryn was diagnosed with leukaemia April 2022. Our old terrier Odee has been by her side every step. He took the 8-hour round trip with my husband every other day to see Ferryn in hospital and sit outside with her on the grass. He was right by her side when she had to relearn to walk and is always up for a lift on long walks. We missed Crufts this year due to treatment and would love to win tickets to celebrate Ferryn being cancer free next year."
