Arden Grange - Terms & Conditions Social Media Competition 2023

Free Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Entries can be submitted to the Arden Grange competition post on the Crufts 2023 Facebook event page. Simply like the post, like the Arden Grange Facebook page and comment below the post to tell us why your dog deserves some treats or even better post a photo.
Start date: 23 January 2023
Closing date: 6 February 2023
No purchase necessary to enter competition.
A maximum of one prize can be won by one entrant.
One entry per social media profile will be entered into the free prize draw.
There is 1 prize available consisting of 1 x pair of tickets (or 2 tickets) to Best In Show at Crufts 2023, and 1 x Arden Grange goody bag (contains 1 x 2kg of Arden Grange food, 1 x Crunchy Bites, 1 x Tasty Liver Treat, 1 x collapsible dog bowl, 1 x treat bag, 1 x water bottle). Winner may select their 2kg of food from our range subject to stock availability.
Prizes are unable to be transferred to a different individual or exchanged for a cash alternative.
Entrants must be 18 or over. Open to entrants in the UK only.
Prize will only be delivered in the UK only and excludes the following areas excluding Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and Scilly Islands.
Entrants may take part on Facebook.
Competition winner will be contacted via Facebook. Prize will be dispatched within four weeks after the competition has closed.
One winner will be selected at random.
Data gathered during the entry process will be held by Arden Grange and The Kennel Club. The information won’t be provided to third parties.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are not received for any reason.
All entries must be made by the entrant themselves. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries, entries by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter), and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that entrant’s entries into the draw in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the promotion, that entrant’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
The prize is not open to employees or relatives of Arden Grange.

The promoter is: Spectrum Brands whose registered office is at Rosemount House, Rosemount Avenue, West Byfleet, KT14 6LB, United Kingdom
The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Spectrum Brands and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
Closing date for entry will be two weeks’ from the day of posting the original post. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason
The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
Winners will be chosen at random by software, from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents.
The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. James Wellbeloved - Terms & Conditions Social Media Competition 2023

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of these Terms and Conditions and by participating all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by them. Please retain a copy for your information.

The promoter takes data protection seriously. By entering this promotion, you confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy and agree to these Terms and Conditions of the promotion. By submitting any information required as part of their participation into the campaign, participants agree to their information being held and processed in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

PRIZE INFORMATION

There is one prize in total, as detailed, that is available to be won throughout the entire promotion.

Prizes are strictly non-transferable and must not be sold, auctioned nor advertised for sale whether on the internet, in newspapers or elsewhere. Any person found in breach of this term will be disqualified from participating. No cash alternatives or other alternative prize will be available in whole or in part, except in the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, whereby the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes with prizes of equal or greater value. The prize will only be awarded directly to the winner.

The prize voucher is to be used in one transaction only and any remaining balance will be forfeit after the one order has been placed.

The prize voucher must be used within 90 days and will expire after this date if not used.

The Crufts tickets can be used either on the Saturday or Sunday of the event.

In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to suspend the promotion or amend these Terms and Conditions, at any stage, with no liability to any entrants or third parties, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

One winner will be picked at random using an independently supervised process.

The winner will be contacted directly via the James Wellbeloved Instagram or Facebook UK page within 7 days of the closing date of the Promotion. The winner will be required to respond within 14 days confirming their acceptance of the prize.

The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner and then after successful contact, to receive the relevant information to allow fulfilment of the claim and arranging the prize dispatch. Inaccurate information may result in the prize being forfeited. If a winner has not responded to notifications after 14 working days or if a selected winner is ineligible, otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or unable to take up the prize for any other reason, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and to forfeit this origin win and to reallocate the prize from all remaining entries if possible. Winners should retain their notification email message until their win has been verified.

The Promoter does not accept any responsibility in the event a winner is not able to take their prize for whatever reason, including in the event that a winner provides incorrect address or bank account details or due to postal delays or loss by the postal service.

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate entrants for any losses that may be incurred as a result of entering the Promotion and the Promoter does not accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of a winner’s acceptance of a prize except where such damage or loss is caused by the negligence of the Promoter or its agents. The winner’s statutory rights are not affected.

No correspondence: Winner selection is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, except with the prize winners.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The winner's surname and their county will be available by posting your request and a SAE to James Wellbeloved Social Competition, Mars Petcare UK, 3D Dundee Road, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 4LG within three months of the promotion closing.

Should a winner object to their information being made available, they should contact the Promoter by emailing here. The promoter may nevertheless disclose the information to the relevant Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.

In the event a winner requests for their personal data including phone number and address details to be deleted before the expiry of this period, the Promoter cannot be held responsible if such request means that it is unable to complete delivery of the winner's prize or assist them following deletion of their phone number. The name and contact details of the winner[s] will be retained for 30 days after the prize has been fulfilled to allow the Promoter to deal with any queries from the winner. Surname and/or county details may be retained and made available to members of the public in accordance with Paragraph 20.

The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize/gift, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

The Promoter is not responsible for any entries which fail to be registered or are delayed for any technical or other reason whatsoever. The Promoter cannot be held responsible if the winner does not receive their prize as a result of having provided incomplete or inaccurate address details.

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the winning entries including asking for the winner's identity, including proof of age, (which they must provide within 14 days but which will not be retained following verification by the Promoter and redemption of the prize) and to refuse to award the prize or withdraw the prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions or any instructions forming part of the entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions, and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to this clause.

The Promoter may at its absolute discretion disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the application process or operation of the website or to be acting in any manner disruptive to the promotion.

Sometimes, through reasons outside of the Promoters control, the website (as with any website) may not be accessible. The Promoter cannot guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the website. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

By registering for a YuMOVE Crufts Competition (“Competition”), you agree to participate in the competition prize draw and you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, and you acknowledge that you satisfy all eligibility requirements.

3. The Prize

3.1 The Prize will be:

3.2 There is 1 (one) Prizes in total available to be won.

3.3 Only (one) Prize per eligible participant is permitted. No third party is permitted to claim the prize.

4. The Draw

4.1 The Winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process within one month of the competition closing date.

4.2 The Competition winner will be contacted, within 7 days of the winner being selected, by email using the details provided during entry into the Competition.

4.3 The prize must be redeemed and claimed by the 30 January 2023 at 5pm. If the winner does not claim the prize within this period, the prize will be offered to the next randomly selected winner.

4.4 The prize will be sent to the winner within 14 days of responding to the Promoter.

4.5 The prize is non-changeable and non-transferable. No cash or credit alternatives are offered. The Promoter reserves the right to provide substitute prizes of a similar value, should the specific prize become unavailable for any reasons beyond its control.

4.6 The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw or competition is final and biding. No correspondence or negotiation will be entered into by the Promoter concerning either the decision or the result.

5. Data protection and publicity

5.1 By providing contact details, eligible participant consents to being contacted by the Promoter in relation to the Competition.

6. Limitation of liability

Your statutory rights are not affected.

7. General

7.1 The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any person it finds (a) to be attempting to claim the Prize more than once; (b) to be tampering with the entry and/or Prize claiming process or the operation of this Competition; (c) to be acting in violation of these terms and conditions; (d) to be acting otherwise than in good faith; or (e) to have provided any false or misleading information as part of the process of entering the Competition and/or claiming the Prize.

7.2 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this Competition without notice and any part of the Prize issued in the event of major catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, earthquake or any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other similar events beyond its control.

7.3 This Competition will be governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. Promotional materials form part of these terms and conditions, but in the event of any conflict these terms and conditions will prevail.
