  • Extensive Media Coverage: In 2024, Crufts garnered over 10,000 press mentions, with an estimated advertising value exceeding £38 million and a combined audience of over nine billion people.
  • Impressive Television Coverage: Televised on More4 and Channel 4, Crufts averages over eight million viewers, with more than 16 hours of broadcast time.
  • Excellent Online Engagement: The Crufts website attracts over 3.5 million views leading up to and during the event, providing extensive digital exposure.
  • The trade stands are a highlight, with 85% of visitors enjoying exploring them and their diverse array of products and services. There has also been a steady increase in spending since 2019.

 

Who attends Crufts?

  • In 2024, Crufts welcomed over 155,000 visitors across four days, consistently attracting a large and diverse crowd of dog enthusiasts, with over 93% of attendees rating the show as either good or excellent.
  • 77% of ticket buyers are female, and 60% are aged 45-64. However, the fastest-growing age group is 18-24 (16%).
  • Over a third of visitors are prepared to travel more than two hours to attend, demonstrating the event's wide appeal.
  • 50% of Crufts visitors spend more than four hours at the show each day, ensuring ample opportunity to take in the events and explore all five halls.
  • The most common reasons for attending are to see dogs, enjoy a fun day out, and watch the competitions.
  • And of course, more than 83% of Crufts attendees own a dog!
