Crufts Key Stats and Information 2020

Last year, Crufts welcomed a record attendance of over 166,500 visitors joining in the annual celebration of man’s best friend. Almost 20,000 dogs will compete this year, including 3,171 dogs from overseas.

Scruffts Family Crossbreed Dog of the Year 2020

The Scruffts Family Crossbreed Dog of the Year competition, exclusively supported by pet food makers James Wellbeloved, is the nation’s favourite crossbreed competition. The 2019 heats attracted nearly 600 dogs, across six locations, with 24 dogs and their owners making it through to the semi-finals at Crufts 2020, and will compete in each of the four classes: Most Handsome Dog Crossbreed, Prettiest Crossbreed Bitch, Goldie Oldie Crossbreed and Good Citizen Dog Scheme, before four lucky crossbreeds will go through to the final.

Dog lovers can look forward to a record-breaking 15 hours of television coverage when Crufts returns to Channel 4 and More4 this March to celebrate the world’s largest dog show. This is an hour more than the 2018 show which was then a record in itself and means that, at the weekend, viewers will be treated to a total of eight hours of Crufts on Channel 4!

Free eye testing offer at Crufts 2020: Applications now open

The Kennel Club and British Veterinary Association are pleased to offer free eye testing to exhibitors at Crufts this year. Forty appointments per day will be available free of charge, giving a total of 160 free appointments across the four days of the show, funded jointly by the Kennel Club and the BVA.
