One day to go: Crufts returns for the 135th year

As we count down the final hours, I’m so excited to welcome everyone back for what promises to be one of our biggest Crufts yet. Every year, this show brings together the very best of the dog world, and 2026 is no exception. We’re thrilled to be welcoming more than 20,000 dogs through the doors this week, representing breeds of every shape, size and personality. It’s a celebration of everything we love about dogs and the people who care for them. 

You’ll also notice a new addition to our Channel 4 and More4 presenting team this year. Claudia Winkleman is joining Clare Balding and the rest of the crew to bring viewers all the action from across the four days. Claudia has often spoken about how much she loves Crufts, and we know that since becoming a dog mum to Skip, her young Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that affection has only deepened. She brings such warmth, humour and genuine enthusiasm for the dog world, and we’re delighted to welcome her to the line‑up. 

We are also pleased to have Radzi Chinyanganya back out in the halls, with Paralympian Ellie Simmonds once again sharing interviews and features live from the NEC. They will be speaking to a wonderful mix of competitors, visitors and some very familiar faces who are joining us across the week. Together, they will help shine a light on the people, dogs and stories that make Crufts so special. 

We’re welcoming a fantastic range of new sponsors and trade stands too, adding even more energy to the halls. And as always, I want to acknowledge the staff, volunteers, partners and exhibitors whose hard work brings this event to life. Crufts is a huge undertaking, and it simply wouldn’t happen without them. 

What makes Crufts truly special, though, is our dedicated community of showgoers and viewers returning for more of the excitement year after year. Whether you’re joining us in person or watching from home on Channel 4 and More4, thank you for being part of it. We can’t wait to share the magic of Crufts with you.
